The Production Manager will oversee the daily production/operations juggling numerous projects at one time including tracking hot costs, ETC92s, cost reports, PO92s, payroll, (for both staff and freelance) and funneling all reports to the book keeper. Manager will also be expected to create new budgets for ongoing projects as well projects in development, over see the post set-up, manage the editorial approval process between the company and the networks/clients, ensuring that deadlines are met and projects are delivered within specs, on time and within budget. He/She will create and maintain ongoing and new relationships with outside vendors and be directly responsible for insuring that all technical support is available for all shoots. Must work well under pressure, tight budgets, deadlines and direction changes and see projects through from inception to shooting to post and delivery Qualifications 4-5 years production experience in broadcast or cable television production, preferably from the production company side. Must possess excellent written and communication skills, ability to work under changing deadlines with numerous projects, strong project/budget management skills, detail oriented and have excellent organizational, budgetary, personnel management and client relationship skills.. Technical proficiency with PCs and Macs, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel, Movie Magic and Filemaker Pro. Must have robust rolodex in both LA and NYC for crews and vendors. Experience in both field based reality formats and multi-camera studio formats a must. At least a BA/BS required.
