We are a small company in the business of creating movie trailers. We are agroup of fun young people, and we're looking for someone who's a good fit. We want someone who's sharp, organized and detail-oriented to the point ofbeing annoying. This person will also be partly receptionist/office manager -- picking upphones, answering the door, making sure the front area is clean andorganized, etc. The bulk of the job will consist in logging materials in/out on FileMakerPro, coordinating finishing schedules for our team of assistant editors,dealing with vendors, quality controlling our deliverables, check billingblocks, etc. We are looking for someone with experience in the world of post production.Someone who is familiar with formats and feels comfortable with thetechnical lingo is a plus. Bonus point if you've worked with FileMaker Probefore. The most important thing about this job is that you must be able to nagpeople to death about getting their work done. We have enough Type B's inour office. We're looking for a Type A. Someone who will catch every detail,make very few mistakes, and stay on top of what needs to get done every day. Salary: $600/week

FREELANCE TO STAFF Under the direction of the VP of Creative Services, this position will work in conjunction with other division heads in the creation of content for VOD, online and wireless for Playboy TV and Spice Networks. This person acts as a liaison between Production, On Air Promotions and Programming for monthly deliverables and special projects. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Organize and oversee production of monthly departmental deliverables for VOD, Online and wireless for Playboy and Spice Networks. 2) Work collaboratively with VP creative services and short form producers in launch of new shows and creation of any original content. 3) Responsible for wraparound and elements shoots for VOD, wireless and online deliverables. 4) Oversee project manager(s) on production process: pulling media, ingesting, meeting offline, online, sweetening dates and legal clearance. 5) Oversee editors on all monthly and special deliverables. 5) Supervise project manager(s) in creation of monthly all deko cast events. 7) Work closely with VOD and online marketing teams in creation of monthly deliverables and special marketing initiatives (bonus content, sizzle tapes, etc.) A college degree or equivalent experience in Film and Television preferred. A minimum of seven years experience within the cable and/or internetindustry necessary. Experienced in all phases of production in traditional media. Cursory knowledge of fcp non-linear editing and after effects. Fluent in delivery requirements for new media assets and experience working in digital server based post environment. Cursory knowledge of Dekocast, after effects, photoshop, etc. Hands on editing is not required. Extensive computer skills required, including proficiency with Windows and Mac. Candidate must have significant communications skills, and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Will oversee 3 editors, Asst Editor, project manager. Comfortable viewing adult content at all levels g rated material, and XX. Salary: Commensurate with experience. This is a freelance job.
