We are currently seeking an eager, technically-oriented individual tofill an entry level freelance assistant editor position, beginning on aproject-by-project basis. Must have an active, working knowledge of the following programs: Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DVD Studio Pro, Toast, PhotoShop and others. Knowledge of Flash and web design is a major plus. Needs to be experienced managing and organizing large quantities of media, working in a fast-paced environment and turning assignments around quickly (especially sales reels, DVDs and small editing adjustments). The perfect candidate will demonstrategrowth over time, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn, which may lead to longer-term employment. Match tapes to dublist that are misrouted from affiliates. Match faxed paperwork (dublist) to electronic spots. Verify receipt of daily playlist from all affiliates. Troubleshoot reasons for failing playlist for affiliates. Offer support to fix the failure of the playlist. Support Encoders with QC and pass the rejected spot message to affiliates. Performs various related duties as necessary.

Requirements: High school diploma required. Professional/vocational school preferred. Must be familiar with the following tape formats: 1=E2=80=9D, Digital Data, Beta SP, VHS, C2 BE E2 80 9D.
